My middle grade novel lends itself to teaching resiliency, which leads to authenticity. I help young people (and parents) fight fentanyl and street drugs by showing them how to build their authenticity in eight fundamental steps. My message is specific and simple; I compare building an “inner home” of authenticity to building a house or building novel. And then I read excerpts that demonstrate how it’s done.
What the listener comes away with after listening to me is a guide for staying authentic, and I’ll gift the guide to people who call or write in.
